3 Traditions that should NOT be Preserved [in my opinion]
2. Firework Battle: Chios, Greece
Strange tradition, which occurred in Greece. Originates from the saturation when people prayed in church, and they were burned firecrackers to release the saturation. Then the people begin to burn Fireworks with the target is their church and they often fought each other church congregation fireworks between one with other churches.
This tradition should be stopped because, as we can see, burning firecrackers, without any battles, could already bring a lot of injuries and harm to many people who unwittingly use them, how much more can this firework battle do? Not only do people involved could suffer from the consequences and harm, but also the people who aren't part of the battle. Hundreds of people get injured by these firecrackers every year, so, we should try our best to lessen the use of firecrackers in order to be safe these Christmas and New Year season. If it wouldn't be possible, since it's already a part of our long-time tradition, we could at least be more careful in handling these firecrackers.
3. Baby Dropping Ritual: Solapur, India Muslims in western India, at Solapur exactly, lining up to drop their babies from a tower with a height of 15 meters. This ritual has been done for over 500 years, and believed to make their child grow healthy and strong.
This tradition should be stopped because, basically, it could be dangerous to the baby if he/she would be dropped since there may be some possible dangerous things that may happen like, what if the baby's body would still be very fragile and could easily get hurt when he/she's not handled properly, then how much more could he/she handle the drop? The effect they expected on the baby, which is that the baby could grow healthy and strong, may become the opposite after all, although there may also be some reasons why the baby could turn out like that too.

3 Traditions that must be Preserved
This tradition should be preserved because we already have the belief that this practice could affect our luck for the following year, and it was somewhat proven true, by some people. And even though the belief on this practice wouldn't be true, it is still reasonable to have a well-lighted house with windows open so that we wouldn't have a hard time to find our way through the house and the open windows could bring fresh air, and for making noises, this could make the household more lively just for some moments like that of the New Year's Eve and Day. This practice is also a way to warmly welcome the new year that would come.
2. Of course, the highlight of New Year are the festivities! Lots and lots of food. You should have 12 kinds of round-shape fruits for luck, fish to avoid scarcity, egg and noodles for long life, glutinous rice for luck to stick around. Never ever serve chicken because it signifies hunger and scarcity.
This tradition should be preserved because food is what will satisfy people's hunger, and that some believe that there are certain types of food that we should eat or not eat during the new year because of some symbolical reasons like scarcity or abundance. Having lots of food could also be a way to show gratefulness for all the wealth, luck, and fortune that we had during the former year.
3. On New Year's day, it is a tradition to sell empty bottles and old newspapers. Money earned from selling these recyclable materials will be kept in a piggy bank and must never be spent. It is considered as the first earning for the year. Also, spending on New Year's Day should be avoided. It is believed that spending on such day would mean that you are letting go of money and that this bad practice may mean that you will have money problems for the whole year.
This tradition should be preserved so that we could have our very first earnings for the year, and so that these recyclable materials, when bought by each other, could minimize the place's pollution, then maintain cleanliness. Not spending these earnings could also teach us to save money for future use, then try not to be tempted in spending them.

RepairPal
What does RepairPal give you?
-- RepairPal gives you independent and unbiased repair estimates, user ratings and reviews, plus advice you can't get anywhere else.
It's easy, accurate, and .. you know what the best part is? It's all FREE!
Convinced by this already and wanted to try it for yourself? But don't know how it works? I'll tell you how.
We have these sections, namely, the RepairPrice Estimates, Shop Directory, My Car, Car Info, and Encyclopedia. Now, what are these sections for?
RepairPrice Estimates gives us comparison between this estimating tool's estimated price and a specific repair job's price for a repairwork, to make sure that the customer is getting a fair deal. They'll show us what to expect and what to look out for when we have the service or repair performed.
Shop Directory shows us a directory of shops across the area. We enter a city or zip code, then we're free to search for shops in a place that fits our needs, for cars, and a whole lot more! They also have user ratings and reviews, so that they'll know who has happy and satisfied customers!
My Car is where we store all of our service and repair information for all of our vehicles. This could be a handy tool for those who wants to have improvement on their vehicles, especially that these service and repair information could be really reliable as what this website tells us. We could learn a lot about how to improve one's vehicle, or what actually are possible things we could do to make some improvements.
Car Info is simply where we could find information about a car, only that it's from people who have actually tried using it.
Take this page for example: http://repairpal.com/chevrolet-silverado_1500-2005
It describes a car branded as Chevrolet Silverado, then as you can also see, it shows ratings, and comments from customers too, (which we also call as their respective reviews of the product) whether they are good or bad. Well, this also provides people freedom to express what they think of the product, whether it needs improvement or it just needs to maintain its wellness in providing its purpose. This section of the site has a forum-like setting, with people rating something and having lots of things to say about it, or it could also be like a polling process wherein we determine the satisfaction of the product by its ratings and reviews, then some may also determine which would be the best product by looking through these statistics.
This section simply shows us which cars would satisfy our needs, through the opinions of people who have encountered and tried the cars.
Encyclopedia, just like the usual use of it as we all know, it gives us vast knowledge about different topics, only that this encyclopedia only focuses on auto repair and vehicles. It basically gives us more knowledge about the parts and systems of a vehicle, and some helpful hints on car care that would make it easy to do so.
Take this page for example: http://repairpal.com/brake-rotor-replacement
As you can see, vehicle parts and systems are shown to be selected to know more about them. What was selected in this page is the "Brake Rotor/Disc Replacement", and if you take a look at the selection below the menu of parts and systems of vehicles, it tells us what is Brake Rotor/Disc Replacement, what it's for, how we actually do the kind of replacement, the practices, and symptoms that tell us that we need to do the replacement process on it.
We could also find pages promoting a certain auto repair shop, like this page: http://repairpal.com/dallas-auto-repair , which tells us about how much the place needs the repair shop because of some common problems of vehicles caused by hot humid air and the moisture in the air, like problems in electrical connections, fuse panels, relays, and many, many more! This page also tells us more about Dallas, it's location, and economic status.
So, this is how RepairPal could be a source of answers to our auto repair concerns!

The Cross – Aez Julius E. Villamor
Certain rites and passages (the suffering servant in Isaiah, psalms of lament, wisdom literature on the suffering righteous person) seemed to fit the terrible events at the end of Jesus' life and so offered an answer to the why question. Understandably, these powerful images colored the entire story, including the meaning of Jesus' birth and life.
How did this view develop? Just as we do when we face tragedy, especially innocent suffering, so the early followers of Jesus tried to make sense of his horrible death. They asked: Why? They sought insight from their Jewish practices like Temple sacrifices and from their Scriptures.
First, let's return to the shadow of the cross. Because the life, death and resurrection of Jesus make up the foundation of Christianity, the Christian community has long reflected on their significance for our lives. What was the purpose of Jesus' life? Or simply, why Jesus?
Throughout the centuries, Christian theology and piety have developed these interpretations of Jesus' execution. At times God has even been described as demanding Jesus' suffering and death as a means of atonement-to satisfy and appease an angry God. In many forms of theology, popular piety and religious practice, the purpose of Jesus' life is directly linked to original sin and all human sinfulness. Without sin, there would have been no need for the Incarnation.

T-U-M-B-L-R ! :)
Tumblr is a microblogging platform that allows users to post text, images, videos, links, quotes and audio to their tumblelog, a short-form blog. Users can follow other users, or choose to make their tumblelog private. The service emphasizes ease of use.[4] John Maloney is the President of Tumblr.[5]
You may read more about Tumblr here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tumblr
In my own point of view, Tumblr is a fun site to be in! Like Blogger, it is also a blog, the difference only is that people could reblog posts from other users or "like" them, and we would notice that it is more on photos than text, unlike Blogger.
The fun thing about Tumblr is that users interact with each other, by posting photos, text, links, and a lot more kinds of posts that are worth sharing, and could even be agreed by the majority, could be applicable in our lives, or it could be true to people in some cases. Take this message for example:
Now, tell me, does this apply to you? :D
Here's another, a heart-warming story, or whatever you call it. :)

So, what do you think of the story? ^^,
